Over 2 years in the making, the GT55 offers gas modelers 20-30% more power than the competition and the fit and finish O.S. is known for. Its Walbro® pumper carb is front-mounted for better cooling and more consistent performance. The ID-01 electronic ignition system is an O.S. exclusive which compensates for wet plugs. A microcomputer and a front-induction, rotary-valve crankshaft ensure optimum timing at any throttle setting.

IG-01 Capacitive Discharge Ignition uses a microcomputer programmed for optimum spark advance. Through the use of magnetic sensors on the crankcase and prop drive, the IG-01 also detects and compensates for wet plugs, ensuring consistent quick starts. Designed to accept a wide range of input voltages, the IG-01 requires minimal current in standby mode and features a low-voltage warning (intermittent engine operation). |
